Hi, everyone! Last week, Yara and Talah prepared for a friendly debate on the proposed merger between the two biggest U.S. cable TV companies, Comcast and Time-Warner. So I hope that tomorrow, Tuesday, we'll be able to go ahead with that debate.
Especially for our new students, Maria and Vivian, here is a news article that sets out the basic facts and issues of that possible deal. It's probably not necessary to read the whole article--you can skip the last part about Charter Co.
I don't think that Maria and Vivian need to take part in the debate, since this is a new topic for them, but they may have some thoughts on the subject.
We'll review the main points of the article before going ahead with the debate.
